Office Assistant - Bilingual Chinese
Our company is looking for an Office Assistant to be responsible for greeting clients and visitors to our office. You will be in charge of giving clients directions to various parts of the office, contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phone calls and taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.
This is an EVENING SHIFT position, working hours are 6PM to 3AM.

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. BILINGUAL MANDARIN CHINESE IS REQUIRED.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answers and transfers phone calls, screening when necessary.
Welcomes and directs visitors and clients.
Maintains filing systems as assigned.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepares written summaries of data when needed.
Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.
Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.
Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.
Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
Maintains a system for recording expenses and the use of petty cash.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

EVENING SHIFT: 6PM - 3AM

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is required.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field required

Office and warehouse environment
Occasional periods of standing or sitting for extended periods of time
