Office in Woodside Queens looking for an Administrative Assistant to work on the coordination, running, and maintenance of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate is expected to perform different tasks on a timely manner and at a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. You are reliable, responsible, and organized with high attention-to-details and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You work effectively independently but you are also a team player working collectively with colleagues. Previous administrative experience is preferred, and bookkeeping knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily administrative operations and office maintenance
• Handle and resolve various administrative requests and issues
• Maintain database of employment forms, contacts, attendance, paid sick leave, vacation, others
• Create and update company files including manuals, job applications, time request, others
• Maintain and update policies, registrations, claims, and repairs of company vehicles
• Keep track of working condition and maintenance of office equipment and machinery
• Sort, distribute, and draft communications including e-mails, memos, cards, and company letters
• Organize and schedule departments’ calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
• Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
• Perform data entry and maintain updated filling systems
• Other duties as assigned
