Job Description: Insurance and Pre-Certification Associate
Our surgery center is seeking an experienced Insurance and Pre-Certification Associate who is professional and understands the value of compassionate customer service. The job includes significant amounts of multi-tasking, but the ideal candidate will know when to slow down and provide personalized service to our surgeons and patients. Applicant must be a team-player and have strong attention to detail. There are advancement opportunities within the company for the successful applicant.
Educational/Experience Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in obtaining authorizations or insurance verification.
Language: English and Chinese
The duties include, but not limit to:
• Surgical scheduling for numerous operating rooms
• Insurance verification (Commercial Insurances/Medicare/Medicaid/Workers' Compensation)
• Pre-Certifications/ Authorizations
• Answering phones
• Communicating with the numerous departments within the company
